It’s been a while! If you don’t know me, or haven’t read any of my content before, then you can pop over to the About TWJ page to catch up on the basics before getting started on this adventure with me.
The ‘About’ page is pretty much an FAQ section – except no Qs have been asked because when I wrote it the site wasn’t actually live, so my sounding board was a very helpful mirror.

This first post will sum up what I want to make of this online space, and some realistic information about what you can expect from me.

My intentions with this blog are not to be ruled by an upload schedule (ADHD nightmare – see ‘About’ page for more detail on this). It will be more of a structureless format following my natural creative pattern!

This might mean that I upload a handful of posts in quick succession, or there might be radio silence while I’m tinkering in the background or searching for inspiration. As this is more of a creative passion project than a straight-laced source of regular content, the genre and length might be likely to fluctuate.

What won’t change is that each piece I upload will be true to my character, will hopefully make you feel like you’re reading words from a friend, and ideally bring some joy to your day.

I chose to come ‘back’ to blogging now because I’m finally ready to get into writing professionally, given I’ve sorted a lot of personal-life issues and have now become more settled as a person since graduating. I don’t work in the industry yet, and I’m still not sure what aspect I want to get involved in, but I’m hoping that this outlet will allow me to figure it out a little bit.
